Putting our clients first

Putting our clients first

At Redrambler we are proud to be different.

Our unique experience of working within Schools and Academies means we understand what makes them tick. Working in partnership with our clients past, present and future; we aim to help schools deliver by putting their needs first.

Here's what some people said about Redrambler.

"School business leaders have significant responsibilities for financial and operational strategic management, so it is essential that they receive quality advice from professionals who understand the Education sector. Iain Blair was my predecessor as Chair of the Manchester Secondary Schools Business Managers’ Forum for a period of five years and was elected by his peers as it was clear that his wealth of experience and detailed financial knowledge would prove invaluable in leading the forum of schools. Having known and worked alongside Iain since 2004, I have first-hand knowledge of his attention to detail and his professional financial and moral standards, which have stood him in good stead over the last 12 years. Having worked in schools within different Local Authorities as well as a period for Oldham LA, Iain is well informed to be able to offer support and advice for many aspects of financial leadership and management, based upon years of practical experience.

Iain has a pleasant disposition and will be able to work with potential school clients with a view to facilitating decisions on what is best for students and the school. His honesty and integrity are undoubted and his professionalism and discretion will always be evident. I have agreed with Iain that I am perfectly prepared to provide a reference should you have any further questions."

"I have known Iain Blair for over 10 years both as Chairperson and as a member of the Manchester High School Business Managers forum.

His knowledge, support and advice in respect to School Business Manager is informed and supportive. His recent top tip to me was in respect to a problem we were experiencing with utility suppliers and his advice enabled us to obtain significant refunds.

His advice on site management, finance, health & safety matters and personnel matters have been invaluable over the years.

I have no hesitation in recommending his services."

"We have recently appointed Redrambler as our Internal Auditor. From the initial enquiry through to our first audit, I have found them to be very professional and knowledgeable. They have a wealth of experience in education and specifically school business management so have a unique understanding of the education sector. The audit was conducted in a supportive manner and we were provided with a timely, detailed and clear audit report to present to governors. I would recommend them without hesitation."

"I have known Iain for 3 years in a professional capacity as a fellow Business Manager.

He has always made valuable contributions to the forums that I have attended and is clearly experienced and knowledgeable in his field.  He has also assisted me with an individual query where I had struggled to ascertain a definitive piece of advice.

His eye for detail and clear thinking would make him an ideal adviser in my view."

"We have undertaken 2 internal audits with Redrambler now and found the process extremely valuable. The knowledge and advice for improving processes and enhancing adherence to the Academies Financial Handbook is excellent and has already evolved our internal audit process. The Board of Trustees particuarly like the 5 point RAG scale, they can clearly see where activities are in the 'amber' range compared to a more traditional 3 point RAG scale. The report produced is clear and easy for Trustees to follow, in particular the datafrom the previous internal audit and the progress made against activities is useful for comparison."
